ERAMET Project Meeting

🚀 Last week, Prof. Francesco Pappalardo and Dr. Giulia Russo joined the 𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐓 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 meeting at the University of Warwick, a great opportunity to align on next steps for model development and credibility assessment

The Combine Group is working to integrate:
– model development workflow phases
– credibility assessment categories
– the relevant techniques and tools for each category

⚽ The goal? Build a practical “credibility assessment toolbox”, linking model type and context to the most suitable verification strategies.
For example, in 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞, validation differs for mechanistic physiological models, data-driven predictive models, and decision-support applications
