We are excited to share that on 5–6 November 2025, Brussels will host the 20th Anniversary Conference of the European Partnership for Alternative Approaches to Animal Testing (EPAA).
For two decades, the EPAA has united the European Commission, industry, academia, and NGOs around one shared goal: promoting the “3Rs” — Replacement, Reduction and Refinement — in regulatory testing. This anniversary conference will reflect on what has been achieved so far and what lies ahead.

📅 Day 1 – 5 November
Hosted at the European Parliament, this session will look back at EPAA’s 20-year journey and its key milestones in advancing humane science.

📅 Day 2 – 6 November
Held at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre, discussions will focus on the future: how stakeholders can further accelerate Europe’s roadmap toward phasing out animal testing in chemical safety assessment. The day will also feature EPAA’s 2025 activity highlights and the presentation of the Refinement Prize.

Through our work in 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞, leveraging advanced computer models and simulations to predict biological and pharmacological responses, we contribute to reducing the need for animal testing while improving the precision, speed, and safety of research.

In silico approaches are transforming how we design and evaluate new therapies, providing ethical, efficient, and scientifically robust alternatives that align perfectly with the spirit of the EPAA.
